The team Pangu – a group of Chinese hackers – has released Pangu 9 jailbreak tool to jailbreak iOS 9 through iOS 9.0.2. The Pangu jailbreak update comes as a surprise, as no one was expected any jailbreak given that an iOS 9.1 update may drop any time now. Pangu is currently available for Windows only. However, Mac users can install Windows in a virtual machine and jailbreak from there. Pangu 9 is an untethered jailbreak solution, which means you do not need to connect your device to your computer and tether boot it using a utility after every reboot.

The team Pangu has released this jailbreak at a time when Apple is expected to release iOS 9.1 which is currently in 5th beta phase. This gives Apple an opportunity to fix the loopholes that the jailbreak developers exploited to develop the jailbreak tool.
